Welcome to Bickerton Holy Trinity

We are delighted to welcome children aged 4–11 years into our friendly and caring school community.

As a Church of England school, our Christian vision and values are at the heart of all that we do. We strive to create a warm, supportive and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to be the very best they can be. We work closely with families to help every child flourish, grow in confidence and enjoy their learning journey with us.

Bickerton Holy Trinity CE Primary School is situated within Cheshire East, close to the Cheshire West and Chester border. We welcome applications from families living in any Local Authority area.

Our school has a capacity of 140 pupils, and as a small school we hope to be able to welcome families who choose Bickerton Holy Trinity for their child.

Choosing a school is an important decision and we believe the best way to get a feel for Bickerton Holy Trinity is to come and see us.

We have five Open Days planned during the autumn term 2026 for families considering a Reception place for September 2027, as well as families considering an in-year transfer.

During your visit, you will have the opportunity to:

• meet our staff and pupils;

• visit our classrooms and learning spaces;

• find out about our curriculum and approach to learning;

• learn about our Christian vision and values; and

• experience what makes our small school community special.

We also welcome prospective families for visits throughout the year. If you cannot attend one of our planned Open Days, please contact the school office and we will be happy to arrange an alternative appointment.

Applications for Reception are not made directly to the school.

If you live in an English Local Authority area, you should normally apply through the Local Authority where you live, even if Bickerton Holy Trinity is in a different Local Authority.

When completing your application, you can name Bickerton Holy Trinity CE Primary School as one of your school preferences.

We strongly encourage parents and carers to apply by the closing date. Late applications may be considered after applications received on time.
