At Bickerton Holy Trinity Church of England school, there are currently places available for children aged 4-11 and at the moment, we have places available in all year groups.
Please call 01829 720 240 to book a tour of the school and a meeting with the Headteacher- Mrs. Vicki Williams.

Applications process starts on 1st September 2025
Deadline for Secondary Schools is 31st October 2025
Apply for a September primary school reception place or a secondary school year 7 place through Cheshire East if you:
live in Cheshire East (even if you are applying for a school outside Cheshire East)
live in Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales or outside the UK
If you live in a different English local authority area but want a place in Cheshire East, apply through your home local authority.
STARTING PRIMARY IN SEPTEMBER 2025- RECEPTION/ FOUNDATION CLASS
Our school just sits in Cheshire East. However, please note, we can accept children from any Local authority.
Applications for September 2026 can be made from 1 September 2025 and must be completed by 15th January 2026

Late applications may be disadvantaged.
If you are late applying, you will be expected to speak to the admissions team in person to explain the reasons why you were late applying
Preferences:
The admissions team strongly advise you to put 3 preferences
Consider:
Attending open evenings / virtual tours
Think about how your child will travel to school
Have a Plan B
The best way to apply is online. If you apply online, you will get your offer online
If unsuccessful, accept the offer to secure a place and then you will have the right to appeal.
Appeals Guidance
Choosing your child’s primary or secondary school can be a difficult decision for you to make. The law does not give you a choice of school but it allows you to ‘express a preference’. In Cheshire East, most parents and carers get a place for their child the school they want. However, occasionally demand is higher than there are places available; therefore, some parents are refused a place for their child. If this happens you have a legal right to appeal.

In Year Admissions
Parents need to complete an application form. Once submitted this will be sent to our school to process. We aim to reply in 5 working days.
You will be required to complete a form for each child.
