Values and Ethos
“Life in all its Fullness”
'I have come so that you may have life – life in all its fullness.' (John 10:10)
At Bickerton Holy Trinity CE Primary School, Christian values and loving relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We encourage every member of our school community to be the best they can be, to embrace new opportunities, and to grow into respectful and responsible global citizens. We are committed to nurturing each individual to live an abundant life, achieving their best outcomes academically, emotionally, physically and spiritually. This is made possible through a caring, Christian environment that promotes dignity, respect, and belonging for all.In our school, every pupil and adult is valued, supported, and empowered to flourish. Together, we create a community where love, learning, and life in all its fullness are celebrated. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13) |
At Bickerton Holy Trinity CE Primary School, we believe all children deserve to love their childhood, finding space for play, exploration, imagination and creativity. They should be surrounded by loving relationships, structures and systems which release and enable life in all its fullness.
Our deeply Christian vision expects flourishing for all. This includes both pupils and adults within a school community. Flourishing requires every member of a school community to be valued as having inherent worth. Therefore the main aims for every member of our school community are that they:
-Experience true belonging-knowing they are welcome, completely included, valued and celebrated
-Find every possible avenue of academic and vocational progress and success open to them, without needing to overcome barriers
-Feel totally safe and secure wherever they are and fully connected with others
-Are able to meaningfully participate in the life of our school- knowing that their voice is heard and their ideas are acted upon
-Believe that a hope-filled future can and will be theirs because they can see themselves represented in all aspects of school life particularly leadership.
