Church of England School
Our Christian Ethos at Bickerton Holy Trinity CE Primary School
At Bickerton Holy Trinity, we are proud to be a Church of England Controlled School, where our Christian ethos is at the heart of everything we do. Our school is built on a strong partnership between the Church and the Local Education Authority, creating a nurturing environment where every child is valued, supported, and inspired to flourish.
We place a special emphasis on helping children develop a deep understanding of Christian beliefs and practices, while also encouraging respectful exploration of other world religions. Our aim is to foster thoughtful, reflective learners who are confident in expressing their own views and values.
Collective worship is a cherished part of daily life at Bickerton. It offers a calm and meaningful space for children to explore big ideas, reflect on their place in the world, and live out our school vision in practical ways. Our pupils take an active role in leading worship, supported by our dedicated Worship Leaders and regular visits from Rev. Jane, who joins us every Thursday.
We believe that spiritual development is a vital part of a child’s education, and we are committed to helping every child grow in wisdom, compassion, and confidence.
