Rabbits (Reception) 2025 - 2026
Mrs Smith
Welcome to Rabbits
Rabbit class is made up of 6 kind and caring individuals who shape our wonderful Reception team. As a team, we encourage each other to be the best we can be, to embrace new opportunities and to be respectful and responsible global citizens. We do this through living out our Christian values: love & kindess, respect, friendship, equality, freedom & responsibility and justice.
Rabbit class are taught by Mrs. Smith and are supported by Mrs.Shone and Miss Titchen.
As a Parent or Main Carer, how can I help my child learn?
All the fun activities that you do with your child at home are important in supporting their learning and development and have a really long-lasting effect on your child’s learning as they progress through school.
Even when your child is very young, talking to them helps them to learn and understand new words and ideas. If you make the time every day with your child, it will make a real difference to your child’s confidence as a young learner:
There are some great websites that provide a variety of activities to support development of the brain and body. Some useful ones to start with include:
- NSPCC’s Look, Say, Sing, Play
- Hungry Little Minds from HM Government
- The BBC’s Tiny Happy People
- School readiness booklet (PDF, 994KB)
