E-Safety

From the Head Teacher, Paul Sweetnam, Friday 24th October 2014:

We all try to keep our children safe, spending a lot of time helping them to learn how to cross roads, ride bikes etc, but our children now face hazards on the internet which we as children never had to face, and about which our understanding is limited.

I have arranged an E-safety talk for parents on Wednesday 3rd December 2014 from 1830 - 1930. PC Fletcher will be coming to school the following morning in order to work specifically with Years 4, 5 and 6, and to talk to the whole school in assembly about keeping safe online.

It is therefore very important that, if it all possible, a representative from every family comes to this talk.  The talk is not appropriate for children.

Please do come to learn about how to keep your child safe.

CEOP's thinkuknow website is a very useful source of guidance about how to keep your children safe online. Please follow the link below to find out more.
